Frostbite Event
Kansas Rocks Recreation Park 2051 130th Street, Mapleton, KS, United StatesCome join us February 24th 2024 for our Annual Frostbite Event. This is a great way to open up your seasons wheeling. Great food, great fun and great friends makes this event warm all over. Gates will be open Friday at 1:00pm for registered camping. Gates open Saturday at 8:00am and we will have donuts, coffee and hot cider to get you started. All day wheeling. Dinner is at 3:30 catered by Chicken Annies, followed by our HUGE drawing with the park closing at 6:00pm. This year we have single cards of tickets with 20 numbers on them for $20 per card. We will be offering short sleeve shirts with registration AND Hoodies for purchase.
$60 Cost includes Event entry, 1 hot meal, 1 t-shirt and a drawing ticket.
Yeah It May Be Cold…..But It Never Gets Old!!! Gates open Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Registration Deadline Feb 4th at 6:00 p.m. CST.
You can come the day of the event for $60 entry which includes one raffle ticket. See you there. We will be open for regular business on Sunday after the event.

About the Course:
If you are new to the sport of off-roading or even if you have been in it awhile and want to learn more about how to wheel, this is the course for you!
This class will be restricted to the first 50 entries in order to be able to give quality instruction to the students.
The Registration is now closed for the Spring Class. Keep an eye out for our Summer Class info.

PARK CLOSED
The park will be CLOSED from May 3 to May 13 due to flooding, road closures and more impending rain. We will schedule to open the park the following weekend for May 17-18-19, pending any further flooding issues. Thanks for your indulgence.

Newbie Women Wheelers June 22-23
Kansas Rocks Recreation Park 2051 130th Street, Mapleton, KS, United StatesThis is a women's only event, and is for those women who are new to off-roading and/or want more education about basic off-roading. Led by all women instructors. Learn with like-minded women!!!
Registration is limited to 10 vehicles! This is to ensure you receive individual instruction, as well as small group to learn with.
Weekend package is $85.00, with a $20 Deposit due with registration (due to the limited spaces)
REGISTRATION will close when all spots are filled.

Vehicles must be 4 wheel drive, fluid levels checked/filled, and tires in good condition with spare tire. If you have questions about your vehicle, please contact us.
CHECK-IN Friday between 1pm to 5pm. This is to allow you time to set-up your campsite.

We will head for the trails with guides to learn hands on.
